5 Tips on staying fit
1. Weight train 2-4 times a week for healthy bones and a fat-burning physique. Women should not be afraid to use weights; weight training tones the body and will create the shape you desire.
Note: Three sets of each exercise is sufficient; if you are looking create size, use heavier weights with 8-10 reps on each set. If you are looking to get lean, use lighter weights doing 12-15 reps on each set.
2. Eat every three hours starting with breakfast. To get your metabolism going, it is imperative to eat something within an hour of waking. Try to eat a lean protein and a complex carbohydrate at each meal.
Note: Vegetarians and vegans can get their protein from sources such as nuts, legumes, soy, almond, or rice milk and soy protein. Complex carbohydrates include oatmeal, brown rice, vegetables, etc.
3. Drink water throughout the day. Shoot for at least 80 ounces of water. The more you increase your intake of H20, the more toxins will be flushed from your body. The result? Less bloating, fewer headaches, and flatter tummy.
Note: Soda and alcohol make the body retain water. If anything, they will dehydrate and cause bloating and inflammation.

Note: If stretching before your workout, try to warm the muscles by walking in place for a few minutes.
